AOSpine Faculty Criteria Document
The AOSpine Faculty Development and Management Education Task Force, (formally Faculty Development Task Force) is proud to announce the release of the new Faculty Criteria Document.
The task force consists of regional representatives from all 5 official AOSpine regions and after extensive discussions that included representatives from the AO Education Institute they created the attached document to ensure continuity between regions regarding the application and selection of faculty for AOSpine educational events.
The framework was designed to provide transparency in our selection process, equality for all who are interested in teaching at events, ensuring we are accountable for the use of our resources related to Faculty Development and all decisions are based on the merit of each individual.
We hope that this will aid in ensuring everyone interested in teaching at AOSpine events can follow a pathway applicable to all and develop their teaching skills.
The global framework is just the start of the project for the team, who will now turn their attention to regional guidelines to assist in streamlining the management of faculty.
