Welcome to the latest edition of AOSpine Faculty Focus!
FacultyFocus provides you with relevant information that has been specially selected for AOSpine faculty to keep you in touch with the latest in AOSpine Education.
This summer I had the pleasure of hosting the winner of the Germán Ochoa Traveling Fellowship and you can read the interview with Ali Haghnegahdar in this edition.
I was also very excited to be witness to the launch of our Mentorship Education Scheme in New York City! Our first ever meeting with our first ever Mentor and Mentee pairs was a huge success and you can read about the program we devised to ensure our pairs get the most out of the scheme.
As well as offering our faculty the latest in educational theory our Faculty Center now includes the 'AOSpine Injury Classification System'. The AOSpine Knowledge Forum created this system which you as faculty can now use during your events to teach your participants.
Additionally this autumn we want to share with you the latest insights into blended learning, offer you Ten Tips for being a successful moderator and also the latest news regarding Synbone.
I hope you enjoy the issue!
Best wishes,
Michael Grevitt
