AOSpine is pleased to launch two mentorship programs in 2015 available exclusively for members. With these mentorship programs, we aim to provide the next generation of leaders in spine surgery with the knowledge and experience to advance spine care worldwide.
The unique opportunities mentorship programs give to both the mentor and mentee to enhance their learning is evident and so we look forward to receiving applicants for the AOSpine Mentorship programs. Hear what Mike Grevitt has to say about the Education mentorship program and read why one of the 2014 Research mentees recommends that you apply for this year's mentorship program.
AOSpine Mentorship- Education
This new mentorship scheme will see spinal surgeons at the start of their careers as attending or staff surgeons paired with accomplished peers for a unique educational and professional experience. The mentee will study a syllabus that has links to unique on-line AOSpine educational offerings with the opportunity to interact with their mentor on all aspects of the material.
AOSpine Mentorship- Research
After the big success of the first AOSpine Research mentoring program 2014, we are very pleased to announce a new round for 2015 with slight modifications. This improved and ambitious program is aimed to teach a whole team of surgeons in a local hospital how to perform clinical research. The team will receive theoretical lessons and practical support to perform their own clinical study.
